SLYC is excited to be hosting the 91st Annual WMYA Western’s Regatta! We hope to see between 90-100 boats registered for the event with Optimist, Butterfly, Laser, MC, C, & E boats competing. This has generally been an “all hands on deck” event with SLYC Members participating both in the racing as well as volunteering to work at the various activities occurring during the week. Please see the link below to volunteer and sign up for as many positions that you can.
This is an awesome event that provides everyone the opportunity to watch world class scow racing and attend the many social events. A schedule of events will be coming soon along with numerous work parties to prepare the club for the regatta. All fleet schedules for Saturday 7/30/21 will be determined by the Race Committee. The Race Committee will post the days schedule no later than 8:30 PM the prior day on the Official Notice Board. On the last scheduled day of racing no warning signal will be made after 3:30pm.

Family friendly kick-off the regatta. B.Y.O.B and a dish to pass. Mixers provided.
Reggae Party
Wednesday, July 28. Immediately following the last race (aprox. 4:30)
Enjoy live music from Zion Lion while catching up with friends! Heavy appetizers & B.Y.O.B mixers provided $10 cover charge per person. SLYC members bring a dish to pass.
Junior Carnival Party
Thursday, July 29. 6:30 pm
Inflatables, carnival games, and prizes! There will be a pizza dinner, and the cotton candy machine will be whirling, much to the parents’ delight. $10 per Junior.
Commodore’s Ball
Friday, July 30. 6:30 pm, cocktails
Join us for dinner and dancing under the stars! Live music by Funkle Jessies, cash bar. $50 per person
FOOD TRUCK SCHEDULE

We will have food trucks on property throughout the event for breakfast & lunch
