Why Join SLYC?
Low annual due rates – as low as $410 for a first time family, and only $300 for a first time single membership. No initiation fee, you simply pay each year you join.
Season-long weekend races, Mother’s Day through September. All fleets include Optimist Pram, Laser, Butterfly, and MC, C and E Scow classes.
Nationally recognized sailing school for all ages and skill levels, with individual and group instruction.
Large dockage with boat moorings available for members with electrical hook-up and winch/crane access.
Affordable, casual, all BYOB social activities throughout the year for families and adults.
Family nights every Thursday evening in the summer. Bring your dinner to grill and enjoy the club with other members.
Sandy swimming beach and children’s play area available to members.

First Time Family $430
Family Memberships include primary member, spouse/partner & any dependents living in the same household, aged 4-22.
Single $340
First Time Single $300
Single member aged 31+ with no dependents
Young Adult Single (18-30) $150
Young Adult Couple (18-30) $250
Young Adult is for individuals or couples aged 18-30 with no dependents
Senior Membership Single (60+) $275
Senior Membership Couple (60+) $370
First Time Senior Single Membership $235
First Time Senior Couple Membership $315
Member or couple aged 60+ (age eligibility is based on oldest member)
“Legacy” Single (75+) before May 1, 2023: $100
“Legacy” Couple (75+) before May 1, 2023: $150
Individuals or couples aged 75+ with continuous membership of 15 years or more. Requires membership committee approval after member applies; membership committee can make exceptions to rule based on circumstances.
Membership and registration fees must be paid in full to be scored. Memorial Day Regatta deadline is 5/24/24
